I dont know what the heck VW did w/ their designers!? Maybe they hired them from #0ND@ because I think it looks similar to an Accord. I have driven Jettas? for years? & love my 02 but think the look has been falling off since that gen. Just my 2 cents….dont judge me monkey!

Ford also tried to save money when they had several brands under one roof.
Range Rover, Jaguar and Austin Martin. They are now all sold off by Ford due to branding problems. GM still has problems and so does Chyrsler.
Toyota only has two major brands and that is the reason Toyota makes the most profit.
@hyylo It’s called saving money while still delivering quality automobiles.
The concept sedan looked much nicer. But the car has to be inexpensive, so VW had to cut back on a few things.
I think VW need to be careful because all of the brands are looking the same.

I like VW very very much, now I have got a VW, my last car was a VW, but this Jetta is horrible.. Boring, copied, simple, where is the desing?? I hope it will be market only in South America like new VW Santana.. Please VW, keep your previous style!!

i fell asleep watching this. they’ve gone and made it the german toyota camry.
It is disappointing to see this Jetta because it has become so bland but I guess Volkswagen Has finally figured out Toyota’s success with the Corolla and Honda’s with the Civic.

I would buy a Jetta over anything American or Japanese but… yeah it’s a VW. kinda boring.
