ethen7 asked:
i have an old front end from a volkswagen carmengia and i was wondering how much i could get for it. it is a little dinged up and rusty but its in pretty good shape.
thanks
(i have pictures if you need them)
its just the bumper front end. not the WHOLE FRONT END. like the headlights and grill area

If it is complete with steering, hood, fenders, bumpers, brakes, etc.. and they are in good condition despite the rust you might get $500 for it
BUT
you will need to learn how to spell it in order to list it for sale (start with the letter K not C
Karmen Ghia
(Two words.. (the names of two people)). but sometimes it is written as one.
Try an listing in CRAIGSLIST and see if you get a response.
.
He didn’t spell it right either:
Karmann Ghia
thesamba.com has a ghia forum and classifieds. Check those out and you’ll get some ideas. Prices vary wildly based on what year, what condition, etc.
He said it is just the bumper. For those of you that don’t know the Karmann Ghia is a “uni-body” car. You cannot unbolt the front fenders and take them off of this car. It was not made that way. If any serious front end replacement is done it must be cut off and then welded back on. That is why serious body damage of any sort, especially to the front end decreases the value of these cars drastically.
