Done it now, oh and it says in the vw manual to put children under 6 months in the passenger seat so you are all wrong im afraid. It also says if your travelling alone you should put it in the front so you can keep an eye on it if its choking etc.</p>

<p>Im a rather tall guy 6'0 so to sit comfortably the drive seat is litterally as far back as it can go... I am willing to sacrifice comfort but still need it to be as far back as possible to be able shift properly. Does anybody know of a particular car seat that is small enough to fit in the back seat and or is it safe to have one in the front seat if i some how get the dealer to turn off the passenger airbag?<br/><br/>David</div>
