What is the head unit size that fits into a volkswagen cabrio?

I have 2001 volkswagen cabrio and i need to get a new head unit i was wondering if anyone knew what brand of head units fit into the cabrio or what the size is so i can look for a new head unit! thanks so much for ur help!!!
are pioneer head units easy to install into cabrios? and will i need to buy an installation kit in order to get it to fit properly??

   Your VW holds any single DIN stereo.

   There are hundreds to choose from.

   I would stick with a CEA compliant brand like Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood, Clarion, Eclipse etc.

   Stay away from the “cheap” brands like Boss, Power Acoustik and most Sony’s.
