What is the security code for a stereo out of a 92 volkswagen Passat?

I have changed the stereo in my passat and put an original stereo in it. I tried to turn the radio itself on and the word safe appears. Please give me a security code so I may listen to my radio. Thank you.

   The code would be with the original manual that came with the car. If you don’t have it, try contacting the dealer where you purchased the car. It’s probably in the computer system.
