the answer to the 04 is no its not “bad” vw used to make horrible cars, after 02 they started producing quality. in 07 vw replaced the golf with the Rabbit (witch i currently have a 2008), this car is way better than the golf, so if you can go 07 or 08 the rabbit is the best
